Private health measures
During a relaxation and fitness holiday, you can implement measures for prevention and for the maintenance of your health with us. The privately used therapy opportunities can support your family doctor’s therapy, in the sense of a preventative measure, even in the case of functional disorders and with declining fitness. In the event of general exhaustion, a reduction in productivity or a lesser physical dysfunction, we offer you numerous measures for your health with the aim of maintaining and restoring your physical and spiritual capability. The prescribing occurs by your doctor, who prescribes the treatment on a private prescription. It makes sense to have an examination prior to the start of your fitness holiday, which determines your physical capabilities and limits.
A stay on prescription
As outpatient cures cannot be carried out that often, alternatives to this will be of help to you. Such a possibility is a stay on prescription, where you bear the costs incurred privately and take advantage of a medical prescription from your doctor in the form of cure treatments. Your family doctor decides on and prescribes the applications, which he deems to be necessary for your treatment. You then choose the health resort that is appropriate for you. As a rule, your health insurance assumes 85% of the costs for the treatment.
Outpatient cures
An outpatient preventative care and rehabilitation measure is appropriate if the outpatient treatment opportunities in your place of residence are not sufficient to prevent the start of the illness or the development of an illness that has already arisen. As a rule, the duration of an outpatient cure is 21 days, but an extension is possible in the event of medical necessity and when specific reasons are given. Together with your family doctor, you apply to your health insurance provider or to the benefits agency for a cure. Of course, you may go to a health resort any time at your own expense. Almost everyone, however, can be entirely or partly reimbursed for the costs of a cure. After examination by the medical service and approval by the health insurance provider, you may determine the date for your cure and the choice of the health resort. Should you choose to come to Templin, then you select your accommodation, your doctor at the health resort and the date of your stay yourself.
